This is the food area with the bottle warmer, fridge, etc. Each child has a bin for their food, bottles, etc. On the wall, by those colored papers are where they hang their "report cards" that tell how much she's eaten, diaper changes, etc. The colored cards keep track of if the child is sick, coming in late, not coming in, etc.
This is the diaper changing area. Each child has their own wipes container and diapers with their names on it, then they let us know when they run out, so we can replace them. You can also see the play area and some of the swings and such.
This is Lia's crib. She sleeps by Bryce and Ayden. She has her own blanket that we provide, and the staff has a couple of crib mobiles that they move from crib to crib.
Here's another shot of the play area. There are lots of fun toys and activities for her. The big kids that can sit up by themselves, get to play together in that round padded area, it's filled with plastic keys, rattles, etc. Usually when I pick her up, if I have her carseat near this area when I'm strapping her in, little crawlers will make a bee-line for me like little jerky, zombies, trying to get to me before I get up off the floor. Little boys in drool-covered striped shirts, or baby polo shirts, will crawl up on my lap while I'm trying to strap her in and sometimes they even try to get in the carseat with her, they're ready to go home too. Poor little munchkins.
This is one of Lia's daycare teachers who finished at the community college and left to pursue her RN degree.
Here is Lia's little cubbie. It holds empty bottles, pacifiers, dirty clothes and things like that for me to pick up.
Here is one of Lia's favorite bouncers, she's in it a lot. Next to it is the "big girl" bouncer that is very popular with the kids. The big bounder is spring loaded so when they jump it goes up and down really fast, I bet she can't wait to try it out.
Here's what I see when I come to pick her up at 5:00. Good times at daycare.
wow-how can home compete with that???? Oh-yeah-home has mommy and daddy-haha! Her daycare looks awesome-must make you feel better leaving her-knowing she's in such good hands!!!
