This was it, the last pickysticky, I took her 12 month pictures and packed the milestone stickers away .......forever??? I mean, it's not like just until next season.......that's weird, and feels so final. Anyway, I was excited to be able to finish the 12th month, because it's so neat to look at all 12 in a row to see how much she had grown.
First off, the "mexican toy", as Greg called it. This activity table is "da bomb", she loves it. The best part is that it doesn't play "Twinkle, Twinkle", or "Lullaby", it plays, "LA CUCHARACHA", the Mexican Hat dance, and some other wildly, latin, booty-shaking songs, and I'm here to tell ya, she can shake what her momma gave her. She sticks her little butt right out and bounces, right on beat. She'll bounce on her legs and she'll nod her head to the rhythm. She really likes to dance, so maybe we'll see her on Dancing With The Stars some day.
I love the bow mom made for her hair, it matched the outfit perfectly. Miss Green Jeans, she wasn't going to give me any pictures with a smile AND the "12" showing.
Oh except this one, yeah, and did I tell you she likes pulling bows out now? Grrrrrr!!!
She also loved mom's windows because they were easy to see out of and she stood there for a long time looking outside, banging her head against the window and smearing it up with fingerprints.
Then she decided to do this. Luckily, no Yorkies were harmed in this picture, I don't think Sophie was even in there at the time, but scarily enough, Lia likes that dog bed....almost better than her own (did I say that out loud?!).
Then she decided to do this: Yep, she climbed those doggie stairs. Then she sat on them, it was fun, she was proud of herself.
Then she did this, hey, it's hard being 1.

She is so very, very, ADORABLE!!!! Glad we get to keep up with her via your blog....thanks so much for doing this everyday!!! And now you know-if you want Lia to sleep all night-you need to buy her a doggie bed-haha!!!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I have to agree with Lindi--that's twice. She is really adorable! I miss you guys! It is so great to keep in touch this way, and I check the blog just about every day, even though I don't always have anything clever to say.(Lindi--hush!)
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'm glad you guys like it and read it. I know a lot of times it's mostly about Lia, but that was the original intent (to keep Greg updated), so all the rest of the crazy stuff is just a bonus. HA. I'm happy that I can keep everyone informed and I read every comment.
ReplyDeleteThis blog is really fun. I always look forward to reading it myself, even though I am right here.
