Standing is something we take for granted. Lia is thrilled with it. I often hear her squealing with delight because she's wobbling on her own two feet with her butt stuck out for balance.
Action shots are one of the things I love about my new camera.
I was actually able to catch Lia taking a stand.
The precursor to this picture is that she'll sit on the floor and lay her belly flat on the ground in front of her, between her legs. Then she pushes herself up into an upside down 'V', then she gets to this position.
Next, she pushes herself off the floor.
Next she assumes the Sumo position for balance. See the look of concentration on her face?
This is hard work.

nice camera-to catch those pictures.....they are really cute-it's almost like we're right there with her, cheering her on...you can do it Lia-you can do it.....before you know-she'll be running!!!!
