Easter Recap

Just wanted to recap Easter, since I missed it.

First we colored eggs with these cool Q-tips filled with color, they were pretty messy easy for Lia, and turned out really good.
"I do, I do", she kept saying.
Of course we had dye all over us.
But the eggs turned out pretty.
Sunday we got to hunt eggs outside.  I loved her dress so much that I'm keeping it forever.  Mom did an excellent job making it, it's very 70's and has the most unique lace trim.  It made me giddy.
She would have no part of the putting those eggs in a basket, they were hers and she didn't want any help.
She searched all over for both real and plastic eggs..........she ran.......
 .....and ran........
.....and ran and shrieked with excitement.
......especially when she realized some were filled with the traditional foil, covered chocolate eggs.  What Easter is complete without them?
Even the Gargoyle participated in the fun.
Sophie  Fotay, closed her eyes and layed in the middle of the yard away from danger, and soaked up the warm sun.
I had to hide an egg in the bird feeder, because Mom used to always hide one high out of reach.
I had zero luck getting a cute, Easter basket shot with her pretty dress without it turning into a Pamper's ad, but hey, cheerleader's show their bloomers and it's okay.  So maybe she's on her way to being a cheerleader.  Either way, it's still cute.

  1. I'm glad you loved the dress. It was fun to make and was cute on her. Wild and 70's as it was, I loved the colors.
