Mom and I were looking for tennis shoes the other day, or sneakers if you prefer.......and we went to Shoe Carnival in Iowa City. What's not to love about a carnival, right? Wrong ! ! Lia and I walked around to the kids section and they had one of those little rides for kids, the kind you put the quarters in.......know what I mean? Lia climbed in the little fire truck with Mickey and bounced on the seat and smiled and giggled. She enjoyed it. Then, I put the quarters in...........................
............and this is what happened............
brace yourself..................
She. HATED. IT. Total mommy fail. The lights were spinning red, and the little car was rocking back and forth and Lia was petrified. I'm not sure if I feel worse about putting the quarters in, or taking this picture. Maybe I'll wait another year to do the quarter rides.
That might be a good idea. Yes it was total trama. I think she might have Post Tramatic Stress from that.
